**Pattern Only** Pansy Hat Pattern
**Pattern Only** Pansy Hat Pattern
I’ve designed and sold a version of this hat a few different times and decided to finally put it down in a pattern. This hat features beautiful round flowers that are worked on its surface, transforming a basic hat into an accent piece. While the hat is basic and can be worked by any level of crochet practitioner, the pansies present a bit of a challenge that elevates this into an advanced beginner or intermediate level work.
Materials
Yarn
Option 1: Sew Happy Jane Delicious DK (DK Weight; 100% Superwash Merino; 231 yards per 100 grams); about 130 yards in Sassy Ballerina
Option 2: Buxom Cat Knits Aloha DK (DK weight; 100% Superwash Merino; 231 yards per 100 grams); about 140 yards in Colonial
Yarn Substitution Note: Any DK weight yarn can be substituted for the yarns used in the sample project. However, please consider supporting independent dyers if you can, however. They make some really cool and unique yarns that will elevate your project into one-of-a-kind territory.
