**Pattern Only** Striped V-Cable Hat
**Pattern Only** Striped V-Cable Hat
Pattern!
Of course, I believe in love at first sight. When it comes to yarn. I saw these two beautiful colors at a pop-up show for Shaggy Bear Farms and just knew they would be perfect for this striped V-cable hat design. Because it can be challenging to work the front post and double crochet combination required, this hat is great for crocheters who are more experienced than the early beginner.
Materials
Yarn
Color A: Shaggy Bear Farms (Aran weight; 100% Blue Faced Leicester; 185 yards per 3.6 ounces); 1 skein in peach
Color B: Shaggy Bear Farms (Aran weight; 100% Blue Faced Leicester with Superwash; 182 yards per 3.6 ounces); about 35 yards in mint
Yarn Substitution Note: Any Aran weight or light worsted weight yarn can be substituted for the yarns used in the sample project. I have stitched this hat in both Caron Cakes & Simply Soft Caron yarn with the same sizing results. Please consider supporting independent dyers if you can, however. They make some really cool and unique yarns that will elevate your project into one-of-a-kind territory.
